Lois Luesing, former World Partners missionary to East Africa, amongst her many accomplishments, passed away on August 24, 2023. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Bliss Missionary Church, 15 E. Sturgeon Bay Trail, Bliss, Michigan, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bliss Cemetery. Click here to view her obituary.
Join JANET NICKEL as she shares about her ministry in Sierra Leone at Grabill Missionary Church in Grabill, Indiana, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Janet will also be speaking at the Westview Alliance Church Women’s Group on September 5 at 10:00 a.m.
INDIA: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER as he is in India now through September 2 co-leading a discipleship training. The staff states, “Pray for open hearts for attendees, for us to be sensitive to the needs of those attending, and for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
SOUTH ASIA: Pray as an AFFILIATE’s disciple and his wife have relocated to a specific area in Pakistan to focus on six villages to begin discipleship.
EUROPE: A REGIONAL STRATEGY COORDINATOR (RSC) recently gave a Bible to a friend in her language at her request as the woman was curious about what the RSC believed. Pray for the woman as she reads God’s Word and the stories about Jesus that the Holy Spirit would convince her of the truth of what she is reading.
UNITED STATES: Pray for a STAFF COUPLE as they disciple a teenager. Pray for the teen’s spiritual life and for many opportunities for the couple to continue to disciple him and his family.
SIERRA LEONE: Pray JANET NICKEL’s old and renewed passports will arrive before her scheduled departure for Sierra Leone in October.
EUROPE: Pray for the STAFF who are in various stages of language acquisition.
UNITED STATES: Pray for a STAFF PERSON as she will have a jaw procedure on September 11. Pray this will bring healing and that the pain would cease.
