Join JAMES and JENNY WOLHETER as they share about their ministry at Gospel Center Missionary Church in South Bend, Indiana, this Sunday, September 17.
EUROPE: Pray for a STAFF COUPLE as they start board game night up this month. Pray those who came in the past will return and pray for the new attendees.
UNITED STATES: This Thursday at 9 a.m. and this Friday at 4 a.m. BILL JONES and Rev. Richard Morris will co-lead a learning event on spiritual warfare for sixty SIM missionaries from thirty countries. Pray that Bill and Richard will communicate well the needed information and that attendees would be open to hearing the information shared. Pray also for Bill as he begins leading the Breaking Free 101 series at LaGrange Missionary Church starting this Sunday, September 17. Pray also for DEBBIE JONES as recently she has experienced extreme hip and leg pain, is very limited in mobility, and suffered some mental confusion. She is currently on two anti-inflammatory meds, a sleep aide, and has been referred to a back and pain specialist. Pray the specialist would be able to assist her and that she would begin to feel better.
GUINEA: BRUCE and DAWN CLUCKIE request prayer for Suri and his wife, Fatumata. The Cluckies state, “Suri once professed to follow Jesus, but is now trying to make himself a life without God. Pray that God gets hold of his heart and turns him back to Jesus. Pray for their salvation. Pray that he would be a good husband to Fatumata and a good father to his young children. Suri operates a retail business in town.”
UNITED STATES: Pray JEREMY and MINDIE TICE would continue to have encouraging meetings with staff as they prepare to launch some exciting initiatives working towards sending new graduates to the overseas mission field from Bethel University. Pray for the Tices as they connect with the next generation of disciple-makers. Pray also for Jeremy, Mindie, and their children as they continue to transition from living in Europe to their role of missionaries in residence at Bethel.
EUROPE: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER as he preaches this Sunday at his own church and throughout October and November at another local church that is without a pastor. The local church has requested he preach on the topic of what it means to follow Jesus.
MIDDLE EAST: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER as she leads a prayer conference this weekend for sixty attendees. Pray for her and her husband as they both participate in leading during the conferences. Pray that the prayers laid on the attendees’ hearts would stir them into greater partnership with Him.
MIDDLE EAST: Pray for a STAFF COUPLE as they restart their Bible study group in their home this week for twelve attendees.
KENYA: Pray for a SHORT-TERM TEAM currently in Kenya. Pray for travel safety for the team as they return this Saturday.
