You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. -John 15:16 (NIV)

Name(s): Bill and Debbie Jones

Host Country: United States

Reverend Bill & Debbie Jones are veteran World Partners missionaries, serving as such for the last 36 years. They ministered in France for 15 years in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training, and have been on special assignment at Bethel University for the last 21 years as Missionaries-in-Residence. At Bethel they have discipled one-on-one and trained in small groups a new generation of cross-cultural laborers. Bill is an ordained pastor in The Missionary Church, which both he and Debbie have faithfully served full-time since 1974 -- as Men's Advisor at Fort Wayne Bible College, as a pastor at Grace Missionary Church in Mooresville, Indiana, and as collegiate campus minister at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, prior to going to France in 1983.

Bill and Debbie have directed the Missions/Discipleship House at Bethel as well as the Student Mission Fellowship, and the annual missions conference. They have also led the Summer International Institute held in May and set up Summer International Internships on World Partners’ fields for Bethel students. Over the last eight years, they have seen over 1400 faculty, staff, and students find freedom in Christ through the Breaking Free 101 series which they developed. Both are engaged in personal evangelism and discipleship with Bethel students on the local Indiana University South Bend campus. They also serve Bethel MKs (Missionary Kids) in their cross-cultural adaptation to America.
