Josephine's ministry is in a cemetery in Indonesia. Poor people in this area build shacks in the cetemery because they cannot afford houses. These poor people have been there for four generations. Some churches and social organizations come to the cemetary to do one-time events, such as holding Easter or Christmas services, where they will give away free items after the services. Josephine fills a deeper need by following up on those one-time events. She doesn't give money or free items to these people, but she does give of her time to build relations and share with them the Good News. She hopes that the light of our Lord will light up this dark area, full of narcotics and prostitution. She is called to introduce hope to these people who are afraid to hope. She serves with faith that these unbelievers will be discipled and disciple others, and gives much love to these people who have forgotten their value.
