Look at the nations and watch and be amazed completely. Because I'm going to do something in your days that I would not believe, even if they told you. -Habakkuk 1:5

Name(s): Randy and Carolyn Fudge

Host Country: Ireland

Randy grew up in a non-Christian home, but attended several vacation Bible schools and the Northside Missionary Church, Ft. Wayne, IN. After the service on Sunday afternoon, he asked Jesus Christ to be his personal Savior in the privacy of his own home.

Under the ministry of Frank Armstrong and his son, Bill, Randy was discipled and grew in his Christian life. Randy says: "The time that Bill spent with me was a great influence in my service to Christ."

While Randy was a senior in high school, God started talking to him. He enrolled at Fort Wayne Bible College and specialized in Pastoral Ministries, earning his Bachelor of Science degree. He also obtained his Master's degree in Ministry from Bethel College.

Carolyn was born in Goshen, Indiana. He attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church with his family. This is where she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. During her high school years, the family began attending the New Paris Missionary Church, where she actively participated in the biblical tests and believed that this participation strengthened her faith and commitment. While attending Prairie Camp, she felt that the Holy Spirit impelled her to commit herself to the Lord in a much deeper way. She enrolled in the Fort Wayne Bible College, and again felt the direction of the Spirit. Carolyn earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Purdue, Fort Wayne, IN.

Randy and Carolyn served on Curdes Avenue, Northside, West Eckford and Decatur Missionary Churches as pastors and pastors of the Rehoboth Missionary Church. They have had the privilege of leading two youth teams of Encuentro de Misiones, one for Brazil and one for Mexico City. They were approved as missionaries of World Partners USA in April 1995 and served in Nigeria at Hillcrest School until June 1999.

After finishing language school, Randy and Carolyn began to serve at the International Christian Academy in Cote d'Ivoire. Randy was the school chaplain and Carolyn was executive secretary to the superintendent. In 2003, they were reassigned to Ireland to open a new field of World Partners.

Carolyn and Randy feel that God has called them to work with children and youth. They have been involved in this ministry since 1981, serving in Indiana, Michigan, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire and now in Ireland. Seeing people come to Christ at a young age is their wish. As these young Christians mature and are discipled, they begin to use their gifts to serve Christ and strengthen the church. Why do they serve as missionaries? Randy and Carolyn serve because they want to obey God to reach the nations. Currently, they serve in the city of Dublin, Ireland, a city of 1.5 million people. They live and serve families in the Dublin area, an area with many needs; both emotional and physical.
