Host Country: Rwanda

Due to the extreme poverty of those with whom World Partners staff Theo and Brianna Makombe work, helping them become self-sustainable is often one of the first steps in discipleship.

Theo and Bri work iwth people in many different pursuits such as raising chickens, growing mushrooms and other produce, and selling beans and other foods. Once they show the love of Jesus through self-sustainability by promoting microloans, they are then able to work with them to deepen their relationships with Jesus and begin to impact their own communities through discipleship.

THeo and Bri hold small conferences to teach pastors, business professionals, and others about the command of Jesus to make disciples of all nationsl. Other conferences teach leadership skills and small business skills to help develop the communities in Rwanda and throughout East Asia.
