PrayLink for January 2, 2024
Pray for the World Partners staff as many plan for the new year of ministry. Pray for wisdom, health, and protection as they continue to share the gospel. And also, for safety and peace for the WORLD PARTNERS STAFF who are in countries with volatile situations.
ASIA: A staff member who has been discipling a new pastor for a few years was able to celebrate with him last month. For his first sermon he preached the gospel message and five people raised their hands to start a relationship with Jesus!
GUINEA: BRUCE & DAWN CLUCKIE Pray for Yalunka kids who are learning to read—pray they would have a strong desire to learn this skill. Pray for those who are teaching them and preparing books and materials to read. Pray that the Gospel would be introduced well through the medium of literacy.
Also be praying for the Radio & Podcast Team. Yalunka - language Bible teaching and preaching programs are broadcast on the local FM radio station and distributed for use on phones. Pray for the team that creates and produces the teaching programs — Bruce, Kelifa, Muluku, Wete, and Bokari. Pray that many Yalunkas would listen to and learn from these programs.
ASIA: A staff member asks for your prayers as their new church was recently shut down and locked up by local Muslim government leaders.
MIDDLE EAST: A staff member appreciates your prayers and support throughout 2023. May God bless you in the coming New year! Thank you so much!
AFRICA: THEO & BRI MAKOMBE Please continue to pray that we would be used well for the glory of God with the people we meet here in the U.S.
