Praying for Breakthrough

Cuba: Please pray for Rodolfo as leader of the Missionary Church in Cuba. Food, fuel, and electricity are still in extremely low supply. Still, many Cubans are seeking the Lord together and sharing faith with many. Pray for more harvest to come in while the Lord provides their many daily needs.

El Salvador: World Partners' Latin American region is gathering in El Salvador May 18-22. WP missionary Nat Brown is taking a lead role in this event. Please pray for remarkable unity and renewed focus on personal dedication to extending the glory of the Father through making disciples.

Laos: A key Laotian partner and disciple of World Partners missionary Shaun Futch is discipling 4 high schoolers in his community. Please pray for their formation and mission in Jesus as they accompany the partner each weekend as he travels to various villages to equip believers to make disciples.

Mongolia: Please pray for missionary Jeff Spence who is hosting a Bethel Task Force short-term trip May 17-30. Pray that they can see what God is doing in our partners’ lives and that God will speak to the students about their unique future role in the global kingdom harvest.

Paris: Pray for missionary Jan Metzger as she gatherings our Balkan Network May 9-14 in Paris. Pray for this group to become very aware of the Lord’s presence as they meet and discern future ministry direction. Also pray for Jan as she encourages them and directs the time.

Middle East, North Africa: Continue to pray for the safety our missionaries and partners, a fast resolution to the wars, and that their ministries will flourish during this time.

WE NEED THEM MORE THAN THEY NEED US!
West Missionary Church has a responsibility before God to help our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. We have provided funds to build homes and ministry facilities. We have provided food assistance and leadership training. We have helped our persecuted brothers and sisters in their time of need, but we have been the recipients of greater benefits than we have given. We have been able to see God's hand at work in distant lands. We have been allowed to participate in God's protection and provision for His people. And we have been challenged in our commitment to Christ as we have seen their courage as they remain faithful in the face of persecution. We need them more than they need us!
