Bulgaria: We are so thankful for our American intern spending time with us in Bulgaria. We pray that it was a transformative experience for her. Pray with us that she and others will see the big picture of the world and help prepare the next generation of cross-cultural workers.
USA: Stephen & Gayle Burgstahler. We have received our shipment of goods from overseas and are excited to now move to Minneapolis to begin our new ministry to African immigrants called "New Neighbor."
Serbia: Zoltan & Tanja Vegel. We placed a few Serbian and Russian Bibles at an event recently. After the event, three Russian and three Serbian New Testaments were taken, along with two Gospels according to John! Pray that God's word brings fruit in the lives of people who took these New Testaments!
Liberia: Daniel & Naomi Elliott. Please pray with us for the teacher seminar that will take place during the first week of September in Liberia. Pray that the teachers will catch a vision for truly seeking the Lord and discipling their students as they teach them and pour into them day after day.
Guatemala: Alex Clem. Pray for me this week as I move to Guatemala! Praise God! I'm so excited! Please pray for my entry to Guatemala, that everything goes smoothly and there are no issues.
USA: Please continue praying for the 12 remaining of the 15 new missionaries we sense the Lord wanting to add to World Partners. We have several quality candidates considering this calling. Ask the Lord to send more people from our MCUSA churches.
Cyprus: We celebrate with a Bulgarian disciple-maker in Cyprus with connections to World Partners, who recently baptized the first person he has discipled into faith in Christ.
Psalm 84:11
"The LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly."
Pray for the World Partners staff and their families as many travel for ministry. Pray for wisdom, health, and protection as they continue to share the gospel. Pray for encouragement and strength against the forces of this world. And also, for safety and peace for the World Partners staff who are in countries with volatile situations.
