Praying for Breakthrough

Belgium: Pray for an upcoming short-term trip traveling to Belgium and Latvia next month from a Fort Wayne Missionary Church. The team will embed with WP disciple-makers and learn how to relationally connect with people and invite them to follow Jesus. Pray for traveling mercies and for the team to learn things from these missionaries they can imitate and put into practice back home where they live.

Liberia: Pray for World Partners missionary Daniel Elliott who is currently traveling in Liberia to help Christian school teachers and administrators, as well as denominational leaders there. Pray the trip results in school leaders being able to strengthen their curriculum development for Christian schools across the country.

DR Congo: Pray for pastors Claude and Marcel who live in a region of the country facing a growing threat from the spread of Ebola. One case in their city has already been confirmed, with more expected. Ask the Lord to stop this contagious disease and for the world to respond with fast and effective medical intervention.

Nepal: Praise God for a Ukrainian leader connected to World Partners missionary Ed Kim in Germany, whose church is sending Ukrainian missionaries to serve in Nepal in association with a long-time Nepalese WP partner named Tej. Thank the Lord for how he orchestrates his global plan!

Mongolia: Pray for a Bethel Task Force team serving with missionaries Jeremy Tice and Jeff Spence. Ask for the Lord to reveal the need and opportunity to disciple the nations from there and call some of these participants to full-time service.

Middle East: Continue to pray for our missionaries and partners in the region who continue to minister despite the uncertainty of the ceasefire. Pray for the Spirit to enhance their joy and abiding while we wait and pray for peace and stability to return.

"There are many ways Pettisville Missionary gets involved in global missions. But I love most how we provide a Christmas gift each year to missionary wives. We believe this is a practical way to show our love, care & support to missionaries serving in far away places."
