Praying for Breakthrough

Liberia: Praise the Lord for a group of churches coming together to start the Missionary Church of Liberia. Praise the Lord for two World Partners-related leaders who will be sent from the Missionary Church of Nigeria to help them establish a disciple-making ethos over this next year.

Russia: Please pray for a Mongolia partner visiting disciples in Russia. Gasoline for transport is difficult to find on this trip. Pray he will be an encouragement to those he meets in these hard times.

Taiwan: Praise the Lord for an upcoming baptism connected to the ministry of WP missionaries there.

Hungary: Pray for a missionary who is in the process of winding down ministry after the sudden passing of her husband last year. Pray for much grace and strength from the Lord in this challenging time.

Portugal: Pray for a key World Partners leader connecting with churches there. Pray that during these meetings Jesus might persuade people to take steps of faith in their everyday contexts. Pray also for additional financial support to come from some of these churches for this missionary’s ministry.

Mexico: Praise the Lord for the recent experience a World Partners missionary leader had at the annual conference of the Missionary Church of Mexico. Nat Brown was able to honor the leaders there with certificates of partnership for their work over the years. But a series of unexpected hardships regarding his travel led to a remarkable moment where the leaders were deeply encouraged by the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord for this moment and pray that these leaders will persevere in their work because of it.

"I love the heart of CW for THE Kingdom not OUR Kingdom — investing outside of CW and specifically globally is about developing the Heart for those things that are on the Heart of God. It gets our eyes off of ourselves, develops a selfless spirit, practices the Lord’s desire for generosity, and celebrates something that doesn’t benefit us directly — all of that recognizes that we can do way more together than we could ever do by ourselves“

Isaiah 25:1

“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.”
